We design Power BI dashboards side-by-side with our clients. We keep our dashboards clean and simple – no silly graphics (unless you want them). We just build what you want. That’s it really….
Ok, a bit more about us: we’re based in the market town of Witney, about 8 miles west of Oxford, but we are happy to travel to anywhere in the South East or Midlands.
We have been building dashboards since Microsoft launched Power BI onto the market in 2016. Before that we used PowerPivot and Power Query inside Excel to connect to online and offline databases.
As Power BI has matured, we have acquired considerable skills and experience in building dashboards, alongside our core skills in SQL, Excel and VBA.
In recent times, we have spent considerable time working with different parts of Oxfam to build dashboards for them and to train their staff, enabling analysts to bring data together in clear and simple visuals for senior management to review and action.
Here’s what Alison Hopkinson, Finance & IS Director, Oxfam GB has said about one piece of work:
Angus has worked with Oxfam GB over the last year and a half helping us deliver a project to update our approach to Internal Auditing and Control Self Assessment.
He listened to what the Internal Audit team wanted to achieve, introduced us to Power BI and how it could be used to improve our processes and worked collaboratively with the Internal Audit team to develop the new tools.
We now have a Power BI dashboard which brings key data and performance indicators to senior management attention more clearly and intuitively than ever before, helping us drive improvements. Thanks Angus for some great work.
